Pick a date for your event. Most parties are on Saturday or Sunday. We typically set up on Thursday or Friday and take down on Monday or Tuesday. The tent/tent package is yours for the weekend, so think about how to best get your money’s worth (host a brunch the next morning, or have friends over for evening drinks and a cookout the night before your event - cocktail tables are a great add-on!).

How many guests are you expecting? You don’t have to get this exactly right. We understand that you might not have a firm headcount yet, but plan on having everyone protected under the tent in case of rain. We can always bring a few extra chairs and an extra table if things change!

Where are we setting up the tent? Our tents are canopy tents (pole tents). They are held up by center poles and held in place using ropes and stakes. Our 20x30 tents have 2 center poles while our 20x40 tents have 3. This style of tent requires the following:

  • Completely flat, grassy space to lay out the tent

  • 5 feet minimum all the way around the tent for ropes and stakes

  • At least 15 feet of overhead space free of limbs, branches, power lines, etc

  • Cannot be placed on cement or pushed against the side of your house

Any underground hazards to consider? We use a sledgehammer to pound stakes into the ground roughly 2’ – 3’ deep. We need to know if there are sprinkler lines, electrical lines running to your shed, pool, septic tanks, or anything else we cannot see. We are not liable for any damage to underground objects but do our best to avoid anything underground that we are aware of.

Unsure if the tent will fit? Send us some pics! Snap a few photos of the area to share with us and if we can’t determine from the images then we can schedule a time for someone to come out and check the grounds.
